Austria: One Magical Night in Hallstatt

Hallstatt is one of those teeny tiny Austrian towns that hugs its namesake lake. Often recommended as merely a day trip due to its small size, we decided to spend one night here to properly soak it all in.

Our arrival purposely fell during their one-night-only Christmas market, where we joined excited crowds, sipping hot chocolate and tasting local desserts.

The next morning, with the daytrippers departed, we woke up to a gentle snowfall, adding an extra touch of magic to our farewell from Austria.

A strategic arrival to Hallstatt’s magical Christmas market made our night unforgettable.
