Last night, I was lucky enough to attend the launch party for The Design Files’ first-ever bi-annual magazine—yes, a physical, hand-held magazine.

Earlier this week, I had the pleasure of visiting the Robert Gordon Pottery Workshop to celebrate the beautiful collaboration between Robert Gordon Pottery and Country Road.

Perched on a hillside surrounded by wattles, Wild Rest’s oversized deck became our sanctuary. Soaking in the outdoor bath and steaming in the sauna, we embraced a simple wellness ritual, breathing in the peaceful stillness of Golden Valley.

Beyond the classic picket fence, 101 Oatlands captures the magic of sandstone cottages with high ceilings, timber floors, and cosy rooms that invite you to linger.

Strolling through this quaint town feels like stepping back in time, with its historic sandstone buildings lining the main street, each one whispering stories of the past.

The laid-back lifestyle, with streets often without gutters and the sound of waves nearby, feels like a throwback to carefree summer holidays, riding bikes and enjoying fish and chips by the shore.
