A Retro Stay at Dollywood, Daylesford

During our mid-week visit to Daylesford, we spent two delightful nights at Dollywood, offering a much-welcomed respite from our work and renos.

While this town is undoubtedly full of quaint cottages to book for a little city escape, Dollywood offered a colourful retro dream among its prim and proper peers.

Think Palm Springs meets Victoria’s spa country, with its bubblegum pink door, neon signs, wood-panelled walls, a crackling fireplace, a servery window connecting the kitchen with the wrap-around deck, and many hung artworks and prints from The Beverly Hills Hotel to a portrait of Elvis.

Right up our alley!
