Wedding Photos: You’re The One That I Want
Beneath a modest amount of dissolving clouds, something rather wonderful was taking place. Two life-long friends exchanged some vows and rings, cherried on top with looks of complete adoration.
Kieran and Pauline stood underneath a large fig tree, as family and friends who had traveled far and wide surrounded them with glee. It’s the lawful act of shouting from the rooftop, smitten and proud that you’ve found the one. Kieran waited at the end of the aisle wearing a crisp deep-sea tone suit, eagerly walking down the aisle to Angus & Julia Stones cover of - You're The One That I Want, Pauline wore a white halter French lace dress by Lover.
As it all began, the honour of giving Pauline away was more than gladly accepted by her Uncle, her father's close friend and brother-in-law. You would never have known that the rain loitered around the venue for days on end up until two hours before the ceremony. If anything even the Weatherman gave Kieran and Pauline his blessing, serving up a good dose of afternoon sunshine and greener grass.
Kieran and Pauline surprised their guests with a special reading of a collection of moments from letters written between each other over the thirteen years they grew from friends to more:
June 2004
Dear Kieran, Lets both drop PE this year! That way we can have free periods together on Tuesday's and Friday’s, and we can walk home together and hang out earlier in the afternoon.
May 2007
Dear Pauline, Pick up your phone. I’ve been trying to call you. I’ve just rushed home from Uni and handed in a half finished assignment, after realising I’ve made a mistake. Lets give this a shot! I hope you haven’t changed your mind.
November 2013
Dear Pauline, Only a few more days now, lets lock this baby in!

Once the formalities were all done and dusted, they celebrated with their guests in a charming rustic barn, beneath the night sky filled with glistening stars. Which was only fitting, since earlier that day, Kieran gifted Pauline with her very own star.
The speeches were a good combination between the Maid of Honor’s tear-jerker (happy tears of course), and the Best Man’s personal acoustic song he had written and played which provided plenty of belly laughs. [Listen to the song here]
‘Pete’s Bar’, named after the memory of Pauline’s father, was run off its feet all night long. Which meant the cheers were louder, the dance floor was busier and the hugs more often.
The outdoor dance-floor that Kieran had built provided the perfect stage for everyone to show off their party tricks. But there was time for a slow dance when the new Mr. and Mrs. Morrissey had their first dance to Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Into My Arms.
Like all good nights, they must come to an end, and midnight ultimately struck on Kieran and Pauline’s night of all nights. And although the loved-up pair can’t relive those perfect moments, these photos are the next best thing.
