After spending much of June on the sun-kissed shores of Greece, I’m entering the latter half of the year with renewed energy and enthusiasm.

Located in the circa 1948 Caringal Flats building, this one-bedroom Toorak apartment has everything Pauline and Kieran need to suit their adventurous lifestyle. They’ve given the home a DIY makeover, instilling the interiors with a retro-inspired feel that celebrates vibrant colour, and the building’s early modernist origins.

The quick hour’s drive to the farm meandered through the Hunter Valley’s captivating countryside, with rolling hills transitioning to a gravel road, leading to a modern homestead nestled in a lush valley near Dungog, NSW.
