Linen House: Winter 2016 Collection Launch

I hightailed a taxi from work to attend a luncheon for their Winter 2016 Collection launch last Tuesday. The event was held at the new and charming Kansas City Shuffle, located at The Rocks. 

A key highlight for me was the WILLOW bedding and cushions which were made out of corduroy, a heavy material which was beautifully contrasted by the light hues available in emerald, pineapple, stone blue, ocean, and magnet. Another highlight was the LARK sheep skin throws in pastel pink, cream, and both light and dark gray.  It added to my excitement of the pending cooler months ahead. 

Musing and mingling, we sat for lunch as the Linen House team introduced themselves to the room. They discussed their passion for the brand and their creative process for the collection.

After the event, one thing was clear; before long, the first leaf will fall, the seasons will click, and before I know it, I'll need a (Linen House) blanket on my bed.
